Text Books for Coursework
Student H asked us:
Any of the Project Management books in the Management Studies Centre library (DMS Watson) which cover tools and techniques should cover Scheduling. But please make sure that you follow the BS conventions given in our course notes for your diagrams, as some texts might use slightly different conventions.
Additional source for NPV are accounting text books. There should be a good selection in the Management Studies Centre library.
There may be other books in the library, in addition to Coping with Numbers and Hamilton, which covers decision trees - look under 'Decision-Making'.
And finally - look at the worked examples that we have provided in the Studypack, including the exercises we did in class and the worked answers to those.
The recommended text books in the Studypack in the Quantitative Criteria session notes are definitely good sources for the NPV and EMV techniques needed for the coursework. You haven't explained exactly what the problem is, so I can't be more precise than to suggest other, more general sources.hi,icould you please reccomend some books which can be helpful for the second coursework?because i didnt found many in the project management text book which you reccomend.
