Questions of Project Management

What about the Product Assurance section?

... further clarification on the Product Assurance section
of the project plan outline and would like to ensure that I am on the
right track. In the information sheet, it is 'the recommended approach to project
and product quality.'

Does that mean that I can just give a description of the GENERAL
process and give examples how it is attained? i.e.

(i) in order to achieve project quality
-ensure clarity thorough clear objectives and requirements
--> by discussions with customer
-use proven approaches to quality
--> by adopting quality management systems like ISO 9000
... etc

(ii) in order to achieve product quality
-Validation
---> by comparing with other past similar projects and their outcomes
---> simulation
-Verification
---> feedback through surveys
... etc

The bullets will help you revise, but the reader of the plan has heard it all before and will be bored, not impressed.

What you need to do is to point at the parts of the plan that require attention from Quality-oriented tools, and to say what tools you'll use, like so:

Product X's quality will be measured in dimension Y using tool Z.
